Kapuluan was founded with a mission to make a positive impact. Our story began in the wake of the devastating Typhoon Haiyan that struck the Philippines in 2014. Seeing the destruction and hardship inflicted on rural coconut farming communities, we resolved to help them recover and thrive.
To aid in relief efforts, we launched our One Item, One Tree initiative – for every Kapuluan product sold, we plant a new tree in the Philippines. This program has made a real difference, improving lives by boosting local economies and restoring the environment. Thanks to the success of One Item, One Tree, we've since expanded the program to other developing regions in need throughout South America.
