TreeTime.ca is a reforestation nursery specializing in 1 to 2-year-old tree, shrub, and berry seedlings and ships them across Canada & the United States each spring. Our peat plugs are easy to transport and plant.

To keep quality high, we place our seedlings in frozen storage over winter. Seedlings thaw on their way to you on your choice of shipping dates from April to June and arrive in 1-7 business days. When your seedlings arrive, they are ready for planting.

Perfect for projects such as orchards, landscaping, naturalization, and shelterbelts, we grow most of our seedlings from seed collected locally. To keep prices low, we sell our seedlings in larger bundles. All TreeTime.ca seedlings come with a 30 day new growth guarantee.

  • Blue spruces, also known as Colorado Blue Spruces, are coated with silver-blue needles. Their silvery-blue needles are prickly to the touch and have a strong, fresh, piney smell. Its pyramidal shape, foliage color, and wonderful smell make this tree a classic choice for a Christmas tree. Not only are these spruces the most widely planted landscape trees, they are the ideal tree for your shelterbelt, privacy screen, or accent tree project.

Colorado Blue Spruce is invaluable in deer country, as their prickly texture and strong smell render them deer-resistant. In the wintry North, where landscapes can look barren in winter, these evergreens provide much-needed winter interest.

  • White Spruce is a hardy, long-lived evergreen tree. It flourishes in many soil types and moisture levels. Shade tolerant and low maintenance, the white spruce is the ideal tree in your shelterbelt, privacy screen, or hedge project. Its pyramidal shape and size allow for its planting as an ornamental tree in an urban environment.

Its needles are about 2 centimetres long and bluish-green or green, with a whitish powdery, waxy layer. Cones from the white spruce are 5 to 7 centimetres long and are light brown. White spruce is a very important commercial tree species, yielding excellent lumber and pulp.
