    Weld and laser cutting scale removal is traditionally accomplished by mechanical finishing (grinding, media blasting) or strong acid pickling of the substrate to achieve a ready-to-paint surface. However, some applicators neglect to do any scale removal prior to pretreatment and paint. UniPrep®  AC products can operate at a mild to near-neutral pH and are free of alkylphenol ethoxylates (APE), phosphorus and boron as well as phosphoric, hydrofluoric, hydrochloric, and nitric acids, satisfying many customer and regulatory requirements.

    Zinni®  220 combines outstanding corrosion protective properties with an improved throwing power resulting in higher thickness in low current density areas. A homogeneous nickel incorporation of 12 – 15% is achieved within a wide current density range. Depending on the requirements, Zinni®  220 allows to choose between bright, semi-bright or matt coatings.
