  The 2026 season is here, and so is our Elite Team.

  Twelve riders. Four new signings. Eight returning champions. And a season opener on March 1 at the Ricky Carmichael Daytona Amateur Supercross — on the infield of Daytona International Speedway, where the pros race Saturday and the amateurs take over for the next two days.

  Eight-year-old Wyatt Tedesco of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, goes by Wy. He lives by one rule: “Pain is weakness leaving the body.” And he has already won at Loretta Lynn’s twice.

• From Racer to Engineer: Meet Dave Drakes, Cobra’s New Technical Program M (May 26, 2026)

  Dave Drakes didn’t take the typical path to becoming an award-winning motorcycle engineer. At 17, he started his own engine repair and race shop, building motors to support local racers and professional MX and WMX athletes. That hands-on experience, combined with over a decade of professional engineering work, makes him a natural fit for his new role as Cobra MOTO’s Technical Program Manager.

  Ten-year-old California standout Yumena Berning is officially part of the Cobra Elite Team after a breakout 2025 season that turned heads at Loretta Lynn’s and the World Mini Grand Prix.
