ALLENTOWN, Pa., January 29, 2019 fusionchef by JULABO now offers the HotmixPRO Gastro, HotmixPRO Smoke and other HotmixPRO accessories as part of its North American distribution agreement with HotmixPRO in Italy. Fusionchef adds the HotmixPRO products to its own line of temperature control culinary products, including commercial sous vide systems, rotary evaporators and other temperature-control cooking equipment.
“The HotmixPRO products were the perfect addition for us,” explains Dirk Frese, fusionchef and JULABO’s director of sales, marketing and service. “JULABO is a temperature control company and our culinary unit fusionchef is very particular about the products it develops and represents. They have to be made for a commercial environment and withstand busy kitchens. More importantly, they have to offer exact temperature control. Unlike other thermal blenders and processors on the market, the HotmixPRO offers degree-by-degree control, which can make a huge difference in the kitchen,” he adds.
he HotmixPRO Gastro is an extraordinarily versatile and programmable tool capable of high-speed processing including stirring, chopping, mixing, blending, emulsifying, kneading, agitating and a dozen or so other functions. It’s compact and portable and can take the place of other pieces of equipment without taking up a lot of space in the kitchen.
It allows you to create, program and easily reproduce sauces, jams, doughs, desserts, soups, risottos, beverages and more. And, due to the degree-by-degree temperature control, it’s perfect for caramelization and tempering chocolate.

The HotmixPRO Smoke is unique among fast, cold smokers in that it uses liquid to infuse the taste and aroma of smoke. It’s easy to create smoked beverages, cheeses, sauces, creams, meats and other items. The essence of the smoke remains in the liquid and in the product without evaporating, and the liquid can be repurposed for additional recipes.
