Our origins go back to a workhorse designed for a legend. The Foodservice division came into being because a couple of entrepreneurs, Colonel Harland Sanders and Winston Shelton, found each other and collaborated on what became the Collectramatic® pressure fryer, and it is still cooking fried chicken around the world today.
Winston went on to create a whole new class of cooking and holding equipment that others have copied, and the precision of CVap® remains unequalled. The same attention to food quality is built into all our equipment today, and consistency is in our DNA.
Headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, Winston is a family-owned business with partners across the globe. We are in our fifth decade of cultivating innovation for the foodservice industry, with diversification in electronics and metal fabrication, as well.
