  • St. Petersburg, FL, — April 7, 2020 — Synzi, a leading technology company, has announced that Excelin Home Health, has launched the use of Synzi’s telehealth app and virtual care platform to safely care for their patients and staff in rural and central Texas, Houston, Sacramento, San Diego, and the California Bay areas.
    Excelin was interested in proactively using technology to gain efficiencies in care while continuing to provide excellent patient support and customer service. With twelve business units operating in Texas and California, Excelin offers skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, home health aide, and medical social worker services.
    To help reduce the spread of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, Excelin implemented Synzi’s virtual care communication platform and telehealth apps to address the patient burden of hospitals and physicians. As a result, Excelin has been able to safely continue to provide needed care to patients by conducting virtual visits when in-person visits are restricted by the patient, the family caregiver or the nursing facility.
