In the VBID demonstration, participating Medicare Advantage Organizations (MAO) will have Hospice included in their benefit packages throughout the 4-year demonstration. Year 1 (2021) has brought some interesting scenarios and challenges. Additional MAOs are currently being added to the demonstration for 2022. Hospices need to understand key elements of working with MAO plans that are a part of the demonstration and this session will greatly assist.
