Description

Even before the pandemic of 2020, anxiety was crippling the performance of workers—especially young employees. Through research Chester Elton learned how a few vital leadership skills—when done right—can boost employee engagement and reduce turnover. He shares the fascinating science behind why so many managers resist something so seemingly simple as gratitude and offers 8 tactics for managers to help their employees build resilience. Each attendee will receive a copy of two of Chester’s books: Anxiety at Work: Eight Strategies to Help Teams Build Resilience, Handle Uncertainty, and Get Stuff Done and Leading with Gratitude: Eight Leadership Practices for Extraordinary Business Results written with Adrian Bostick.

Breakfast is included and starts at 8am; the session will start at 9am.
