Profile

Robin Stawasz, Program Development Executive for Acclivity Health Solutions, has been fortunate enough to have devoted her career to hospice and helping families access the help that they need when they need it. After receiving her degrees from Cornell University and the University of Pennsylvania, Robin worked for 29 years with CareFirst NY, Inc., a non-profit hospice in central New York which consistently led the way in the areas of advocacy and innovation.

Holding various roles at CareFirst, including Social Worker, Director of Innovation and Advocacy, and Administrator, Robin was the driving force behind many diversification and outreach efforts, including inpatient non-hospice palliative care, community based palliative care, care transition services, disease specific hospice programming, and DSRIP development. She also created advocacy opportunities on the local, state and national level, including presenting to the US House Ways and Means Committee on red-tape reduction within post-acute care. She currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Hospice and Palliative Care Association for New York State and previously for the Legislative Affairs Committee for NHPCO.

Robin’s current work with Acclivity focuses on creating a partnership between hospices, the families who would benefit from palliative care, the providers that serve those families and the payers who make care possible. This is achieved through communication, data analysis, service diversification and integration. She is thrilled to be a part of such transformative work.
