Carol Javens serves as an Account Manager for Acclivity Health Solutions. Carol helps clients with using the software, ensuring they utilize its full functionality for prognostic predictive modeling, review of Data at the Point of Care [DPC] data for health spending patterns, and accurate risk scoring. She has extensive experience as a hospice nurse, including earning the prestigious certification in hospice and palliative nursing.
Prior to joining Acclivity, Carol utilized her two decades of hospice nursing experience to work in the EHR field developing and implementing a hospice specific platform. Her experience in the field caring for patients, as well as leading other nurses as a mentor, team director and director of nursing in Illinois and Texas, helps her understand and advocate for the needs of the hospice clinical and operations teams. She also serves as a clinical compliance educator for the California Hospice and Palliative Care Association.
She earned her BSN from University of St. Francis. She volunteers as a certified rape crisis counselor for Resilience in Chicago.
