Laurie Nelson BSN, RN
Director of Clinical Services
CareXM
Profile
What really gets the wheels turning in this savvy leader’s mind is evangelizing healthcare organizations’ need for and transformative impact from business intelligence. As Director of Clinical Services for CareXM, Ms. Nelson helps providers integrate innovative technologies into their patient-care processes which improve both the patient and the caregiver experience. Her favorite client feedback? As recently expressed by Terri Warren, Chief of Hospice and Palliative Care for Providence: “CareXM is more than a vendor – CareXM is a valued partner.” Ms. Nelson herself is valued by clients such as Rebecca Alexander-LaBroi of magnet hospital Goshen, who praises Ms. Nelson’s commitment by sharing their spending one Christmas Eve together via a remote-support session for a crucial “Go Live” to ensure 24/7/365 service for Goshen’s Home-Care and Hospice patients and caregivers. Prior to her work for CareXM, Ms. Nelson worked as an RN in units ranging from ICU to hospice. Hospice work epitomizes her love in terms of care – supporting and empowering those taking their final journey out of this life.
