Matt Shofner serves as a Partner of Havencrest Capital Management. Matt joined Havencrest in 2017 to focus on healthcare services; specifically post-acute, value-based care and behavioral health. He is currently on the Board of Directors of Paradigm Health and the chairman of Deep Eddy Psychotherapy. Matt also served on the boards of The Oncology Institute, Effective School Solutions and Apara Autism Centers.
Prior to Havencrest, Matt served as Principal at Hersh Family Investments (HFI), a Dallas-based family office, since 2013. At HFI, Matt was responsible for deal sourcing, structuring and due diligence for investment opportunities across a wide range of industries, including healthcare services. Mr. Shofner worked closely with management teams and other private equity investors to improve the operational and financial performance of portfolio companies as well as help implement strategic initiatives, complete add-on acquisitions and facilitate post-acquisition integration.
Mr. Shofner earned his Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree and his Master in Professional Accounting (M.P.A.) degree from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. Mr. Shofner is also a member of the Texas McCombs School of Business Healthcare Advisory Council.
