Description

The hospice world is undergoing dramatic changes as legislators, regulators, and policymakers seek to ensure appropriate oversight and transparency for one of the fastest-growing segments of the Medicare program and explore policy options that could irrevocably change the hospice benefit as we know it today. NAHC’s hospice experts will provide an overview of expanding federal program integrity efforts, hospice care patterns being tracked by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and others, efforts by CMS to incorporate hospice into the Medicare Advantage benefit package, as well as other important issues in hospice, and their implications for the future of the hospice program.
