Description
As if dealing with a new reimbursement model, a global pandemic, and the multitude of regulatory and practice changes that came with both weren’t enough, CMS continues to challenge the home health community. Providers must now fortify themselves for the -3.925% permanent payment adjustment and the nationwide expansion of home health value-based purchasing (VBP) finalized for this year and prepare for additional cuts expected in coming years related to the statutorily required temporary payment adjustment. Best practice episode management is more important than ever, and the use of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and data analysis tied to clinical practice is critical to success. This session will delve into identification of KPIs for home health, using KPIs and data analysis to drive clinical success, and how successful implementation of data-driven strategies will lead you to financial success under PDGM and VBP.
