Tabitha Dowd, RN, MSN, EMC, SOLC, LGBH, is a highly accomplished nurse leader and healthcare strategist, currently serving as the Vice President of Home Care at MAS Medical Staffing, one of the nation's leading medical staffing agencies. With over 17 years of experience, Tabitha specializes in quality assurance, performance improvement processes, regulatory interpretation, and data analysis. Her expertise lies in identifying areas for quality improvement and implementing Lean Six Sigma principles to optimize the value stream across the continuum of care.
Tabitha earned a Master of Science Degree in Nursing Administration and Financial Leadership from Florida Atlantic University, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Nova Southeastern University. She holds several certifications, including Executive Management, Strategic Organizational Leadership, and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Healthcare.
Throughout her career, Tabitha has played an integral role in shaping the scope of nursing practice. She has contributed to various professional healthcare organizations, including the Professional Healthcare Advisory Board for the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and the American Nurses Association. Tabitha has also served as a two-term Advisory Board Member for the Homecare Technology Association of America and the New Hampshire Nurses Association Nursing Bylaw Committee. Currently, she is a contributing member of the PDHCA Advisory Board and is serving on the HHFMA Payment and Reimbursement Committee.
To unwind from her demanding schedule, Tabitha enjoys training in Mixed Martial Arts. She resides in New Hampshire with her husband and two daughters.
