Jennifer joined Compassus in March 2017 as the Vice President, Clinical Quality and Standards. Jennifer’s transition to Compassus was preceded by 3 years with Optum Palliative and Hospice Care as the Vice President of Clinical Services. In addition, Jennifer served as the Executive Director of the Georgia Hospice and Palliative Care Organization for 5 years. Jennifer’s nearly three decades of nursing, leadership and executive experience in long-term care, home health and hospice allow her to leverage both skills and knowledge in identifying trends in healthcare delivery, regulatory matters and systems changes which impact patient care outcomes.
Jennifer is a current member of the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association Board of Directors, a member of the National Association of Home Care and Hospice Quality Committee and has served on the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization’s Board of Directors, the Hospice Action Network’s Board of Directors, the Medical Care Advisory Committee for the Georgia Department of Public Health and the Georgia POLST Collaborative.
