Ciera Whitmore, MOT, OTR/L, COS-C has been an occupational therapist at Stillwater Medical Center Home Health since graduating with her Master's in Occupational Therapy from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2014. In homecare, she found a passion for increasing clients' independence and ability to remain in their homes utilizing creative and non-traditional techniques to meet her clients' needs. In addition to working as a field clinician, she is also a member of her agency's quality assurance and performance improvement team and has been the team lead on multiple performance improvement plans. Her focus on improving quality through care plan creation, interdisciplinary coordination, appropriate use of therapy, and team education has assisted her agency to remain competitive through reimbursement changes with PDGM and HHVBP.
