With speaking engagements in the US, Canada and Europe, Jamie’s provocative and engaging style is why she is sought after by so many within and outside of parks and recreation.
Speaking to thousands each year, she brings a fresh, compelling, high impact, roll up your sleeves experience to each program she teaches and every project she leads. Jamie’s past experiences in collegiate athletics, as a parks and recreation professional and as a university faculty member have fed her passion to help others enhance their own talents and improve performance.
She founded 110% Inc. in 2010 with the intention of helping organizations be more responsible, strategic and bold in the midst of dynamic social change and economic uncertainty. Providing assistance to organizations in 40 of the 50 states as well as in a number of Canadian provinces, she persists in challenging the status quo, conventional thinking and the notion that the way it has been done can continue.
Jamie has testified in front of the US Congress on the critical importance of public parks and recreation and believes everyone who cares about the common good should be fueled by anger and love in order to make sure that the important work gets done.
And now the important stuff…Jamie is a native of Illinois who lives in the mountains of Colorado, has a Halloween birthday, is a former college jock, enjoys hiking and biking, volunteers for a number of community organizations, and is a diehard Chicago Cubs fan!
