Profile

The PA Chapter of The American Chestnut Foundation (PA-TACF) is a 501.c3 non-profit corporation dedicated to the restoration of the American chestnut to the eastern woodland. We are working to develop blight-resistant American chestnut trees through breeding and restore locally adapted populations to the forest of the mid-Atlantic. Headquartered at Penn State our Chapter research effort is multiplied by the work of volunteers across PA and NJ, and supported by annual membership dues.

Join us for the TACF Chestnut Chats to learn about our work.
