MPI’s new innovative Active Track & Yard Cleaner. Booth 1759

The MPI 6260 is a patent pending Active Track and Yard Cleaner that uses a high rail system for rail applications and has a 4 wheel steer, 4 wheel drive system when operating on the ground. 

• Designed with Multiple Quick Change Processing Heads as well as Multiple Quick Change Discharge Attachments. 
• The Track Cleaning Head with the Broom/Scarifier and rear Swing Conveyor is designed to remove spillages such as coal, iron pellets, sawdust, etc. from active tracks or yards.
• The Snow Removal Head with a rear Snow Blower attachment will handle snow removal by throwing large volumes of snow up to 150 feet.
• The Grinding Head will remove ice and frozen material up to 11” thick from between the rails (7” below the top of the rail and 4” above the top of the rail).
• The Sand Removal Head and long reach discharge swing conveyor make short work of removing sand from rail yards or active tracks.
• The 6260 can clean active tracks & yards all year-round but can also get on and off the track (within reason) without having to go to a road crossing or siding to allow a train to pass.
• With minor changes to any of the processing heads, the 6260 has the capabilities of performing the same work off the track such as beside a track, on parking areas, streets or highways.
