MPL Innovations, formerly MPL Technology, founded in 1991, markets the SpillX Locomotive Fueling System and NatureBlend Solid Lubricants to railroads worldwide. The SpillX locomotive fueling system has been designed to meet many of the key performance requirements established in the 2001 AAR locomotive fueling standard. The system provides higher flow capabilities than traditional locomotive fueling systems, which can ultimately decrease dwell time and increase train velocity, while also ensuring a safer and more reliable system. In addition to these benefits, the SpillX system uses a widely adopted military specification dry break fueling connection, and can be installed with no modifications to the locomotive. One simply removes the existing components and replaces them with the lighter weight SpillX components in a matter of minutes.
NatureBlend™ is the next evolution of Solidstick™, the world’s most successful wheel flange lubrication system. Made from renewable polymers and plant oils, NatureBlend is a solid polymer lubricant which is biodegradable, and well established at providing significant savings for North American railroads.
