Plasser American located in Chesapeake, Virginia, designs and manufactures railroad track maintenance equipment such as switch and production tampers, dynamic track stabilizers, ballast regulating and undercutting cleaning machines, ballast hopper/conveyor cars, measuring cars, catenary maintenance and inspection vehicles, flash-butt Welding Robot machines (rail bound, hi-rail and container systems), specialty machines, component overhaul and rebuild services and complete machine re-manufacture and upgrades of Plasser machinery. Additionaly, Plasser provides telemetric systems to help the customer maintain and manage their equipment by giving them remote access to all of the machines data and processes.
