Spectrum offers a complete line of electric track switch heaters, each optimized for a specific purpose. Our hot air blower has built-in controls that can be used to power a set of rail heaters and a set of crib heaters without the need for a control cabinet. This solution gets heat to all the critical places: to the points, the tie plates all the way to the heel block, and to the control rods of the switch machine. These electric heaters are safer, more reliable and significantly more cost effective to operate than propane gas. They are also a more environmentally friendly solution than propane.
Our control cabinets contain commercial-off-the-shelf components to offer reliability and simplicity making them the easiest to service in the industry. Our cabinets can control up to 25 circuits and can be customized to the customer's specifications.
