Pre-Conference Training: Supporting Heterogeneous Utility Networks of the Future

This workshop covers all considerations in backhaul network designing to support utility network requirements to support Private LTE and 5G technologies for field area networking (FAN) applications. We will focus on key requirements of the application, including the need for capacity, resiliency and reliability and cost that will then drive the design the backhaul network.   

Additionally the session will cover trends and technologies that enhance capacity and operational simplicity of microwave in preparation for next generation networks and new technologies that will play a role in supporting heterogeneous utility networks of the future.
