Pre-Conference Training: Fiber Optic Training – Pole-Plant and End-Device

Description

The Graybar Training Alliance is a multi-manufacturer consortium offering training from the headend, pole, plant to end-device.  The 3-hour training has 2-parts; Classroom Theorem and Hands-on workstations.  Utilities may request in-depth training sessions post this event. 

Theme:  Introduction to Fiber Infrastructure & Design 

1.    Session 1:  Fiber OSP Infrastructure & Placement Options – 1 hour

2.      Session 2:  Fiber Network & Hardware Connectivity (Headend to Premise)  - 1 Hour

3.      Session 3:  Test & Inspection:  Protecting Your Infrastructure  - 30 Minutes

4.       Session 4: Smart & IoT Poles with Fiber Connectivity  - 30 Minutes
