Bill Hetherington is currently the CEO at Bandera Electric Cooperative in Bandera Texas. He has over 30 years of experience in the electric utility industry and oversees several non-traditional utility programs including BEC Solar, which provides solar/storage energy solutions, BEC Fiber, which supports BEC intelligent grid initiatives and provides high speed Internet access and Apolloware, a cloud based software solution for utilities to aggregate Distributed Energy Resources. He has a degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and a Master degree in Business Administration from Central Michigan University and completed postgraduate studies at the Wharton Business School on executive leadership.
