For over three decades, Alligator Communications has been dedicated solely to providing SCADA/telemetry wireless solutions to utility companies. Alligator’s MAS and Point-to-Point radios are certified by the FCC for use in Private Operations including 150 MHz, 220 MHz, 450 MHz, 700 MHz, 900 MHz and 1.4 GHz licensed bands. We offer IP interface for our 2888 Series remote radio, as well as RS232 and Bell 202. Alligator’s unique Automatic Frequency Control ( patented GatorTrac) keeps all remote radios phase locked to the master’s frequency. A single frequency calibration at the master radio will calibrate all remote radios. This feature eliminates having technicians dispatched to every remote site. Robust adaptive noise reduction improves signal-to-noise, and level averaging filters out decoder drift. The Model 1800 Series Master Station Radio can also be configured for A/B hot stand-by for full redundancy. Automatic transmitter A/B cycling may be invoked to rotate transmitter usage for maximum reliability. Automatic modulation control ensures that maximum modulation levels are maintained at all times without exceeding FCC modulation limits.
