The original Buddy Belt harness was designed and prototyped in 1997 by company founder and CEO, Roxanne Pettipas. Inspired by and named after Pettipas’ miniature dachshund, Buddy, the Buddy Belt officially launched in 2001 at Toronto’s annual PET Expo. 

Buddy Belts unique low-cut design cradles your pet’s chest, minimizing pressure on the neck and spine to prevent damage to the trachea. This comfortable harness fits around the front legs and fastens over the back with just one buckle. Each harness is crafted from top quality materials to form a sleek, streamlined, and durable product. 

Available in a rainbow of colours, Buddy Belts come in a variety of sizes to fit various small pet breeds and dogs, from teacup and toy to standard.     Fun & functional additions to any BB Harness...
     

    • BB Liners are extra soft leather pads that Velcro onto BB Harness leg loops. BB Liners offer extra comfort for sensitive dogs or are simply used as added comfort until the BB Harness softens and forms itself to a dog's body. Individual BB Liners sizes are designed to fit its corresponding BB Harness size. Available in White, Gold, and Silver.

    BB Charms are fun additions to any BB Harness. Simply attach to the harness O-ring for some added flair!

    • Introducing the NEW BB SPORT, the ultimate sporty solution for wet weather days, long walks, a dip in the lake or ocean, or simply as a casual alternative to our classic leather BB gear.

    The BB SPORT is made from soft, weather-resistant neoprene and premium nylon webbing. Assembled with a combination of black resin and anodized metal hardware, the BB SPORT is built for maximum protection from the elements with minimum product maintenance. 

    Thoughtfully created with the same sleek and streamlined design, the BB SPORT harness has the same shape and fit as the original Buddy Belt harness and maintains all the same unique benefits:

    BB SPORT     is currently available in Blue Camo and Hot Pink Camo, made to fit 1.5 kg to 8 kg pups. Matching leashes available in our regular leash sizes.
