Founded in 2007 in Canada, the genesis of Smack was beloved family dog Zorro. When Zorro was diagnosed with cancer, Emily Giller and son Michael joined forces, using her Master’s degree in Food Sciences, and Michael’s passion for holistic health, to handcraft nutrient-packed meals for Zorro.
