On September 10, Shani Fleming, MS, MPH, PA-C, represented the PALLA research team at the PAEA Town Hall “Hot Topic” exploring the impact of the entry-level doctorate in health professions. The PALLA research team, also including Dr. Gerald Kayingo, Dr. Karen Gordes, Dr. Violet Kulo and Dr. Jim Cawley, was one of five teams awarded a PAEA research grant to inform the organization’s policy decisions on this important topic.

Healthcare Leadership and Preceptor Advancement (HELP-PA) Fellowship
The HELP-PA Fellowship is actively recruiting clinicians who are interested in advancing their skills in healthcare leadership and clinical education as preceptors. This program is a uniquely structured interprofessional opportunity for practicing PAs, NPs, and MDs/DOs to engage in a flexible and blended 4-month, professional development program.

PA Program Innovation, Faculty Leadership, and Learning Symposium
Our second annual symposium on PA Program Innovation, Faculty Leadership, and Learning Strategies will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024.
Led by industry experts, this half-day, virtual event is designed to provide insights into best practices and strategic leadership frameworks for enhancing the quality of PA education today. The key theme of the symposium will be Student Success and Remediation.
