The XTS19 Twin Screw Extruder has been designed with a wide range of processing capabilities, from lab scale sampling to research and development work.

All our extruders feature a clamshell barrel, this provides quick and easy access to the screw elements for maintenance & inspection.

XTS barrels come in standard lengths of 18.5D and 24.5D and in 6D increments up to 48L/D for more complex applications. This provides optimal mixing times and higher outputs.

Xtrutech has two High Speed Mixers available in the XTS range including the M3 & M5 models:

M3=101.44 fl oz   

M5=169.07 fl oz.

Our High Speed Mixers are designed for laboratory use with the bowl capacities listed above. Each lift-off tank can be placed on a scale, so that ingredients can be weighed directly and conveniently. Tanks are locked to the mixer quickly, easily and safely.

A thermocouple is mounted in the baffle blade to monitor product temperature which is displayed on the facia. Impellor speeds can be adjusted for optimal mixing and the modular impellor can be reconfigured for different materials.

Mixing cycles can be pre-set for repeatable batches. On completion of the mixing cycle, the tank can be removed easily from the mixer to carry product to downstream processing.

The XTS44 Twin Screw Extruder is our most popular production extruder, particularly for powder coating applications. It is available with a variety of feeding options and a choice of accompanying cooling conveyors.

Xtrutech's XTS Fines Compactor has been designed to improve raw material efficiency within our customer’s Powder Coating plants. The compactor closes the loop of operation by taking fines from the baghouse and sending them back into the mill as compacted chips.

The XTS Fines Compactor is invisible to the plant, it sits in line with the mill and only compacts when it is given material.The compactor receives fines via the diverter valve, which is then fed through to the compacting rolls, reaching the kibbler to be cut into chips. The compacted chips are then reintroduced to the mill.

The compactor also features a diverter valve to the scrap bag, so the mill is not affected if the compactor isn’t running.The XTS Fines Compactor provides a discreet and effective solution to fines waste, offering measurable cost savings, increased efficiency, and improved sustainability.
