Budenheim's FR CROS® specialties can perfectly match a wide range of coating requirements and is also non-toxic, environmentally friendly fire protection.
An intumescent coating as 5 major components: a charring initiator, a blowing agent, a carbon source, a char improver and a binder. Budenheim developed ranges of FR CROS® specialities for various coating matrices to be used in different climate conditions:
FR CROS® charring initiators are based on ammonium polyphosphates (APP). The functional coated grades combine the compatibility to various coating matrices designed for different requirements.
FR CROS® intumescent ingredients combine different multiple functional components.
FR CROS® anti-corrosion pigments show a better and longer protective effect than ZnP/AlP in most applications
