Anton Paar is a world class provider of scientific instrumentation for characterizing the mechanical properties and roughness of surface coatings. Specific capabilities include micro- and nano- indentation to measure surface hardness, scratch testing to measure coating stability and adhesion properties and tribology as a means to measure friction and wear.
