The Policy Surveillance Program at the Temple University Center for Public Health Law Research works to increase the use of policy surveillance as a tool for improving health, well-being and equity. Policy surveillance creates data suitable for use in evaluation studies, addresses the lack of readily accessible, nonpartisan information about legal and policy trends, provides the opportunity to build policy capacity in the public health workforce, and can speed the diffusion of innovation.
