The U.S. EPA Indoor Environments Division’s mission is to protect the public and the environment from the risks of indoor air pollution. The division develops criteria, standards, guidance, policies and programs to control exposure to indoor air pollutants. It provides technical assistance to states and tribes through EPA's Regional offices and to other national and international organizations, and it evaluates and assesses the overall risk and impact of indoor air pollution.
