Welcome to the APHA/PAHO Virtual Booth!
http://www.paho.org
The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) is the specialized international health agency for the Americas. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, it has provided leadership, coordination, and assistance to combat the disease and mitigate its impact in all countries and territories of the Americas. PAHO has tracked COVID-19’s spread, provided essential supplies to frontline health workers, and supported surveillance, testing, contact-tracing, and laboratory capacity. PAHO has also helped countries organize countries’ health systems to manage the surge in COVID-19 cases while maintaining other essential health services.
PAHO is committed to helping its Member States access vaccines and treatments for COVID-19. After the pandemic, PAHO will work with countries to build back better – toward strong, equitable, and resilient health systems for the best attainable health for every woman, man, and child in the Americas.
