The University of California, Merced (UC Merced) is the newest UC, located in the Central Valley. In our 15th year, we are a designated Hispanic- and a designated Asian/Pacific Islander-serving institution of higher learning. Graduate studies at UC Merced are built on the foundational pillars of diversity and interdisciplinarity. A top campus mission is to rectify the education disparities in California's Central Valley. The campus is equipped with state-of-the art laboratories and centers. Our faculty are engaged in working on critical health issues facing the region and the globe.
