Welcome to the Health Administration Section booth!

Who we are

The purpose of the Health Administration Section (HAS) is to represent the interests of Health Administrators within the American Public Health Association (APHA) and to offer an opportunity for professionals to organize and pursue common goals. To this end, we aim to:

• Increase HAS representation in APHA.
• Develop and distribute professional development resources.
• Provide vehicles for communication.
• Identify, prioritize and advocate on public health policy issues.
• Facilitate networking among professionals.

Annual Meeting sessions

• We invite you to join us at our Business Meetings on Saturday 10/23 10a-12p MST and Sunday 10/24 8:30a-11a MST 
• Please also join us for two very special events: Monday 10/25 6p-7:30p MST Meet the Author Event: An Evening with Dr. Linda Landesman and Tuesday 10/26 6p-7:30p MST Health Administration Section Awards Event and Social Hour! 
• We are excited to also host a Special Invited Session on Wednesday 10/27 at 12:30p MST entitled Health Administration Research for the Future: Building on Five Years of Progress featuring a panel of former Research-to-Practice Award winners.
