Located in Omaha Nebraska, the College of Public Health is one of seven health science colleges at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. UNMC College of Public Health is the professional and scientific home of determined, brilliant faculty who work at the forefront of public health fields such as health security, implementation science, rural health, and cancer prevention. With collaboration from a highly engaged community of skilled practitioners and access to world-class facilities, College of Public Health faculty, staff, and students identify and focus on critical questions that lead to new knowledge and public health innovation for communities. The UNMC College of Public Health serves as a national and international resource through its centers and programs for research in health disparities, biosecurity, research design, agricultural health and safety, and climate change.
Students at the UNMC College of Public Health learn in an environment that embraces the innovation of tomorrow while maintaining low student-to-faculty ratios and small-group learning. Our graduate programs emphasize solving public health problems by applying multidisciplinary approaches and methods in professional, public health practice environments. Educational programs are designed for students who wish to pursue different levels and approaches to public health education, including certificates, masters and doctoral degrees. We also offer many MPH dual degree options with other colleges at the University of Nebraska.
