  • Fatal Vision - Alcohol Impairment Goggles
The Fatal Vision® Alcohol Impairment Goggles deliver memorable lessons on topics like impaired driving, underage drinking, and other substance abuse issues....

  • When you are under the influence of alcohol, it can be difficult to gauge just how impaired you are. Enter the Fatal Vision® Alcohol Impairment Simulation Goggles, an eye-opening tool through which sober people can experience potential consequences of doing basic tasks after drinking.

Walking a line, standing on one leg, reaching out to grab a set of keys and tossing a ball become much more difficult under the influence of alcohol. The Fatal Vision Goggles give participants a safe way to learn the important lesson that alcohol greatly impairs a person’s balance, vision, reaction time and judgment.

Fatal Vision is available in five levels that simulate the impairments associated with a particular blood alcohol concentration (BAC) – from less than .06 to .25+ BAC. Fatal Vision is available with either a clear lens to simulate day conditions or a shaded lens to simulate night conditions.

  • Fatal Vision - Opioid Impairment Goggles
The Fatal Vision®️ Opioid Program Kit models how opioid misuse and abuse can negatively impact an individual’s health, quality of life, and safety....

  • The Fatal Vision®️ Opioid Program Kit models how opioid abuse depresses the central nervous system, causing divided attention failure, nodding out, contrast sensitivity impairment and a feeling of heaviness in the extremities. These impairments can negatively impact an individual’s health, quality of life, and safety.

    • Divided Attention Failure: The goggles limit the scope of the input, so participants experience decreased awareness and the impairing effects of recognizing and responding to a limited, narrow field of view while performing a task.
    • Nodding Out: The goggles blackout halfway, then completely, then continue to blackout for more extended periods.
    • Contrast Sensitivity Impairment: A special film on the goggles reduces the wearer’s ability to distinguish an object from its background at the periphery.
    • Heaviness in the Extremities: Wrist weights cause a lack of coordination and sluggishness when performing the associated activities.

After years of development working with drug recognition experts in opioid abuse and addiction, Innocorp is introducing the Fatal Vision Opioid Goggles experience.

By experiencing the behavioral effects of opioid use, participants are more aware of people’s susceptibility and knowledgeable of the severe consequences associated with using opioids.

  • Fatal Vision - Marijuana Impairment Goggles
This resource delivers an interactive experience that emphasizes the impact of the cognitive impairments associated with the use of recreational marijuana/THC....

  • Experience
Marijuana affects the brain differently than alcohol, and the Fatal Vision® Marijuana Goggles reflect that difference. The Fatal Vision Alcohol goggle distorts vision making it difficult for participant to walk a straight-line and accomplish other activities requiring coordination. The Fatal Vision Marijuana goggle impairs participants visual perception and reaction time. This lack of perception diminishes the necessary visual information a participant needs to complete specially designed activities thereby modeling the impaired perception caused by recreational marijuana/THC use.

    How It works
    Fatal Vision Marijuana Goggle

The Fatal Vision Marijuana Goggles Program Kit includes activities and goggles designed to showcase some of the dangerous consequences of marijuana/THC usage: including the loss of ability to make quick and accurate decisions. These goggles work by distorting a person‘s ability to perceive color (NOTE: someone under the influence of marijuana DOES NOT lose their ability to distinguish between colors). We use this feature of the goggle to model some of recreational marijuana/THC’s impairing effects – such as a decrease in reaction time and visual perception. For an impaired driver, these impairment effects could lead to a crash.

The program kit includes five activities to use with the marijuana goggles as well as instructional materials and videos. The activities give participants an understanding of the potentially severe consequences that can result from recreational marijuana/THC use.  PATENT NO.: US 10,366,630 B2

    Benefits

    • A safe and effortless way to demonstrate impairment from recreational marijuana/THC
    • Easily tailor each marijuana educational activity for use with participants of all ages, including middle schoolers to adults
    • Instructional materials prepare instructors to deliver an engaging and relevant demonstration
    • Marijuana abuse prevention activities are structured to address how distorted perception and response mimic impaired behaviors that may occur while under the influence of marijuana/THC
    • Goggles developed working with Drug Recognition Experts
