Welcome to ICTHP!
We look forward to sharing our Section.
APHA Section includes members from diverse backgrounds - clinicians, researchers, academics, policy-makers, advocacy specialists, and students. Our interests range widely and include many aspects of integrative approaches such as: acupuncture and Asian medicine; Ayurvedic medicine; yoga and qi gong; nutrition; massage; herbal medicine; Indigenous medicine and mind-body approaches.
Integrative, Complementary and Traditional Healing Practices Section of the American Public Health Association
We are a vibrant and diverse community of health care providers, educators, researchers, community activists, policy-makers and students. We are dedicated to the principle that health care that includes wellness is a right, not a privilege.
Our membership is approximately 500 strong - including members in the U.S. as well as around the world. We have sister organizations within the public health structures of Australia and South Africa.
