Loyola University Chicago, Parkinson School of Health Sciences and Public Health
Located in the Chicago area, the Parkinson School of Health Sciences and Public Health is the home for Loyola University Chicago’s graduate and undergraduate Public Health programs. Grounded in Loyola’s Jesuit Catholic tradition, our programs provide students with a community-engaged education that emphasizes social justice, health equity, and real-world learning. The Parkinson School is also home to education programs in dietetics, exercise science, medical laboratory sciences, healthcare administration, and health informatics and data science programs.
Parkinson School's Public Health Sciences department offers several education programs. Our STEM-based generalist Bachelor of Science in Public Health highlights practical skills in data analysis. Our Master of Public Health program offers three concentrations: public health policy and management (online); epidemiology (in-person and online); and global health equity (in-person and online). Undergraduates studying public health, environmental sciences, or healthcare administration can pursue a five-year BS/MPH dual degree. In addition, we offer graduate dual degrees in partnership with Loyola’s Stritch School of Medicine (MD/MPH) and School of Social Work (MSW/MPH). Our MPH and BSPH programs are accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health.
