The Asian Health Coalition works to improve the health and wellness of Asian American, Pacific Islander, African, and other immigrant communities of color through advocacy, technical assistance, education, and research. Working with over 45 different ethnic community-based organizations throughout the country, we utilize a collaborative partnership approach to support the development and implementation of culturally and linguistically appropriate health programs and initiatives.
Established in 2015, the Center for Asian Health Equity (CAHE) is a partnership between the University of Chicago and the Asian Health Coalition that brings together the assets of a world class research institution and a respected non-profit organization to investigate health disparities that disproportionately affect Asian, African, and other immigrant populations. We take a multidisciplinary, collaborative approach through a comprehensive program for research, health education, teaching, community engagement, and information dissemination.
