Stony Brook Program in Public Health
Our program trains people to integrate the knowledge, skills, and values of public health and healthcare management into their careers and to be leaders. One of our many strengths is our faculty, who are scholars in clinical, social and behavioral sciences, and the humanities. Current areas of research include: disparities in healthcare access; sleep health; cognitive functioning decline; aging; environmental epidemiology; resilience and adaptation in the context of disability and illness.
