The Gretchen Swanson Center for Nutrition is a nonprofit providing expertise in measurement and evaluation to help develop, enhance and expand healthy eating active living programs that work to prevent obesity, strengthen food security and advance health equity. With a niche in public health nutrition, we are dedicated to strengthening and validating effective, innovative food-related programs. We assist funders, grantees and community program implementers with program evaluation, grantmaker and grantee support, capacity building and scientific strategic planning.

Among many other projects, the Gretchen Swanson Center for Nutrition announced in November 2019, that we were selected by U.S. Department of Agriculture to lead the Nutrition Incentive Program Training, Technical Assistance, Evaluation, and Information Center (NTAE), a four-year effort funded by the Gus Schumacher Nutrition Incentive Program (GusNIP). The NTAE created the Nutrition Incentive Hub, a coalition of partners that provides training, technical assistance, and evaluation for SNAP incentive and produce prescription programs. Learn more: www.nutritionincentivehub.org
