The University of Louisville (UofL) is a state supported university located in Kentucky’s largest metropolitan area. The UofL’s School of Public Health & Information Sciences (SPHIS) strives to protect and improve public health and healthcare delivery systems through education, research, community engagement, policy, and practice. The UofL SPHIS offers a variety of programs to launch or advance your career in the dynamic fields of public health and healthcare, including bachelors, masters, and doctoral degrees. We also have several 100% online programs and professional certificates. We are accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) and the Commission on Accreditation of Health Management Education (CAHME).
We offer core undergraduate and graduate programs such as the BA/BS in Public Health, Master of Public Health (MPH), and PhD in Public Health Sciences. Most programs have specific concentrations that allow students to direct their studies to individual areas of interest. Areas of study include biostatistics, bioinformatics, clinical investigation sciences, epidemiology, health data analytics, health policy, health promotion/behavioral sciences, health management, global health/maternal child health, and social justice/health equity. The MS in Health Administraiton program is ranked #32 and a "Best Graduate Program" among all CAHME-accredited program according to U.S. News & World Report for 2023.
