Founded in 1999, the National Center on Health, Physical Activity and Disability (NCHPAD) is a public health practice and implementation science center dedicated to delivering evidence-based health promotion programs and resources for people with disability.
NCHPAD offers a nationwide healthcare to wellness journey for individuals with mobility limitations through NCHPAD Connect, an online health portal housing a growing community of wellness and health promotion programs and educational resources. In addition, NCHPAD is committed to advancing health equity by providing individualized information, trainings and technical assistance while fostering partnerships that support health inclusion across various sectors.
