Council on Education in Public Health (CEPH) Self Study

Master of Public Health Program Self-Study Report for Accreditation by the Council on Education in Public Health (CEPH)

The reaccreditation review of UConn’s Program in Applied Public Health Sciences MPH program by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) is underway.  Accreditation assures the public that the degree offered by our university reflects qualities essential to the preparation of the next generation of public health professionals.  The review by a CEPH accreditation review team (occurring on May 20-21, 2024) will examine all aspects of the program, from its administration to its curriculum, educational resources, student services and faculty qualifications.  A draft of our program’s self-study that forms the basis from that review is available here: UConn PAPHS CEPH Self Study DRAFT.pdf.  CEPH welcomes your confidential commentary about the self-study report, as well as general impressions about UConn’s program, using the organization’s portal (submission@ ceph.org).   Comments received before April 20, 2024 will be available to the review team for their consideration.
