NASA’s Applied Sciences Program supports applied research and applications projects that foster use of Earth-observing satellite data and scientific knowledge to enhance decision-making by public and private sector organizations. This enhanced decision-making helps improve quality of life and strengthens the economy. All ASP activities support goals to deliver near-term uses of Earth observations, build capabilities for applying Earth science data, and contribute to satellite mission planning.
